Precious little Fern didn’t know what hit her—literally!  Dazed and confused, she was swept off the streets where she had just been hit by a car.  We are so grateful that a Good Samaritan saw it happen--in her poor condition it is certain that Fern would have remained in the street, unable to save herself, where she would likely have been hit again.  With a damaged front leg and swelling on top of her head, little Fern was not completely aware of what was going on around her as our medical team rushed to action.  We honestly didn’t know if she would survive that first night!  But survive she did, and this little miracle kitty has made an amazing recovery!  Her leg had to amputated but that doesn’t slow her down—she is bright, alert, playful, and loves to talk to you as you work—you’ll never have a dull moment with this cutey around.  Just call her Chatty-Catty!
